One of my favorite pieces of writing by Shel Silverstein (and there are many others) is below:
INVITATION
If you are a dreamer, come in
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer...
If you're a pretender, come sit by my fire
For we have some flax-golden tales to spin.
Come in, Come in !
~~Shel Silverstein
Christine at Swirlygirl put me in the mood for words this morning. She has a beautiful way of expressing herself all on her own but today she adds to that with an amazing quote by a fellow blogger. It had me holding my breath as I read every word. Check it out..
One of the things that I've discovered about blogging, and really love, is how easy it is to find people who share your interests and how nice it is to feel understood. I won't get too mushy on you but I am glad to have stumbled into this medium and feel very motivated by the like-minded souls I've had the good fortune to come in contact with through my weekly ramblings.
There are some changes that I am contemplating and lots of stitching work coming down the pike, which will put the studio re-organization on hold for now. I plan to keep working where ever I happen to be (car, soccer practice viewing, kitchen table) until things are a bit more settled . I have still been thinking about a Fall postcard giveaway since the Summer one was so successful, well received and FUN! So, check back over the next month for an announcement if you are interested.
Otherwise, enjoy the week where you are! :)
