Yes, you read that right. Sistar. Otherwise known as my sister! Since she seems to be the only one around this week, and I've run this giveaway for two days longer than I planned, I have decided to give her, her very own set (16 to be exact) of Winter postcards to mail to anyone she wishes. I will even throw in the postcard stamps!

I'm thinking alot about where the next year will take me and what new things I want to learn and do. In that spirit, I have decided to take a blogging break for the rest of 2008 to re-group and enjoy the holidays with my family. I wish you all a lovely ending to your year and a bright and hopeful beginning to 2009. I am looking forward to new adventures and peaceful New Year. I wish you the same:)

Postcard Giveaway!

Hello! Yes, you read that correctly. The postcard giveaway is here again :) They were originally intended to be Fall themed postcards but I am calling them "Becoming Winter" since we had our first snowfall of the year on Sunday. These prints are my original design and I will sign and date each of them. There are 16 to be had this time around and all you have to do is be one of the first 16 to leave a comment here describing your favorite Winter memory! Be sure to leave me a link or e-mail so I can contact you. Piece of cake, right?

Thought I'd share this word with you today.  Such a great thing to aspire to, and such a beautiful definition.

My hands have been busy with creating some holiday gifts since we've returned from our Thanksgiving celebration. I'll try to show you bits and pieces as I go but I don't want to give away any secrets to the gift recipients out there. No peeking!

My hands are itching to get back to some printmaking and tomorrow is looking like the day. Postcards, you say? That's what I'm hoping for too :)
