Good Morning! Well, I am officially a year older :) I celebrated my birthday on Friday and it was one of those days where everything just flows easily and happily along. No worries, no conflicts, just bliss.
After an all day road trip (with an unexpected stop at a casino where I actually won a bit of $$!) my husband and I ended up at my sister and her boyfriends' place where we ate a yummy grilled dinner in the backyard by candlelight. A group walk on the beach, sparklers, swaying in a hammock beside my sister with a tasty drink in hand, and lots of laughter brought the evening in close around me and made me feel very grateful. Life can get pretty heavy at times, but these are the days that can make everything seem light as air again. I am more convinced every day that it is so important to remember to have fun. To laugh and talk with family and friends. To say yes more. To just remember to dance and to sing at the top of your lungs and hug people as tightly as possible. Give extra kisses. Smile.
Today, I am back in front of the computer and hopefully planning for a Summer full of these kinds of days. The "days without school" officially begin tomorrow for us and I am thinking about how the schedule will be shuffled. It is a challenge for the first week to juggle and re-arrange everything but it is also a welcome change to have my children close to me and be able to hug them whenever I want!
I hope you are well out there and are able to take time to enjoy the people in your life as much as possible :)
back soon.....
Happy HAPPY birthday to you! :)
(I found you in the fishbowl- see you Thursday!)

Happy Birthday!
A candle lit dinner in the backyard is just the way to celebrate.
My birthday was the day before, but over here a June birthday means it is winter. One day I will have to come over to the other hemisphere for a warm June birthday
