Well hello there :) I hope you hve been well and happy and enjoying your days.
I was lucky enough to be able to work on some sets for our local communtiy theaters' summer camp show clled "The Gypsy King". The assignment was to paint a gypsy cart and I was supplied with drawings to work from. It really was fun and quite a whirlwind as I have had boatloads of sewing work this summer as well. Full days of sewing and painting and driving teens to various activities has been a gift and I am happy to have the work.
Here are some shots of the work in progress in my garage.
The wheels are cut out seperately and mounted on top to try for a more 3d effect.
This will be the front door of the wagon while the large flat will face the audience, this piece is at a bit of an angle.
These are the shutters that will be attached later. Another 3d effect that worked out quite well!
I wish I had been able to take photos while everything was joined and on stage, but at least you can get an idea of the final outcome with these photos.
